My Eclipse location, Wyoming

Hi folks,

I set up my Canon 6D with an 8mm Samyang fisheye to take a movie of me and my two boys watching the eclipse from Casper, WY. Exposure was set to auto. As you can see, we had a great location all to ourselves. So much for the people-apocalypse which was predicted. Here's a couple of stills mid-eclipse and a minute outside totality.

Looks like Wyoming was a good bet! You ducked the maddening crowds - which likely headed for Carbondale, Illinois which was scheduled to have the longest totality.

Great animation. You and your boys had a primo spot. Must have been nice to avoid the crowds and traffic. I got stuck in an 8 hour traffic jam from Cherokee, NC back home to middle Georgia  but, it was all worth it to experience totality!
