All you need is 6 inches

There is something devilishly satisfying about using a little refractor visually too. I have a titchy 75mm Pentax which is perfect for viewing comets in context and large clusters.

One other particular night I will not forget was spent on my back at a dark site with a friends Swarovski flat field binoculars. The views were just incredible and testament to the refinement that premium quality gear can offer.

If one scope could do it all, I guess I wouldn't need 3 dobs, 2 refractors and an SCT :p  I still have a hankering for a short fast triplet with large corrected image circle and no CA.....but then, don't we all......
