Salvaged data; M33 (Triangulum)

A couple of nights ago I shot M33 mainly to test the sky and my guiding. I managed to over expose the red channel and took no flats. After having great success with a primitive set of flats (twilight sky during setup) I revisited my data with the new flats and stacked again.

I had to remove the red channel from the resulting image as Deep Sky Stacker created a strange red channel...

Any Ideas? It's NOT from my light frames, flat or dark. Im hoping someone may shed some light on this :-)

William Optics Megrez 90 w/0.8 Focal reducer

8 x 5 minute subs @ ISO 800

Darks and flats subtracted.

Red channel over exposed and hence removed.

Anyhow; With the pretty bad starting point; things can only get better. I'm quite pleased based on the bad data, flats from another session etc. :-)
