Another silly error.

Was out viewing the moon and couldn't get sharp focus.

Thought about it and still couldn't, then the penny dropped, I hadn't fully extended the truss tubes, about 3/4 more cms of travel.

Another one to add to the long list of mishaps.

Observing from home where I do all by sky watching.

Ok you don't need quiet the dark skys for targeting the moon that you do for DSOs. Hope you had a good evening out. I was running a bit late so just went out into the garden with my binos, not to bad managed to pick out M51, M101, M36, M37, M38 and got a lovely wide angle view of Jupiter with its 4 galalean moons
