ZWO ASI224MC - Lens issue!

Yesterday, I took delivery of a ZWO ASI224MC and saw that there was an issue with focussing in that the back of the lens would touch and in one case broke the glass in front of the sensor. I removed the lens and focussed it to infinity and it seems to be flush with the mount. As the glass in front of the sensor is recessed it looks as though there has been a design mod to correct the issue! Can anyone confirm this as I do not want to risk damaging my camera or indeed the lens!

Had a chat with Neil at Tring Astronomy (very helpful people) he took one out of the box and it appears that the camera has been redesigned to correct the issue.
