What is a good telescope (OTA) for 500€ or 433£, for visual and ap

Suspect the ED80 is going to be the scope, An ED 70 would do AP happily but a bit small for visual. The budget will not really go to bigger apeture of visual and still be ED for the AP aspect.

Not sure about a 130PDS.

What is the mount that you have or intend to use.

Probably a Newtonian would be the way to do both AP and visual but do you have the mount for it?

If you could supply us with more detailed information on how you plan to do AP, it would be a great help. As Olly - above - stated: "The mount is absolutely vital." If you already have the mount, please tell us the type of AP you plan so we can see if you have something that will work. If not - just give us as much info as possible - then we can suggest what you can consider.

The mount is an old black eq6. I would use just tracking (unguided).
