Lightroom and registax

Hi all, I'm having a problem with lightroom finding pictures, I did some image processing using registax and saved them in a folder on my desktop, I installed lightroom (an old copy) onto the lappy, I've tried to import the images onto lightroom but it is saying no pictures there, any ideas fellas?

What format were the registax images saved in ?

Have you checked the desktop folder to what is in there ?

yer checked and double checked, the image opens up when accessed via the folder, but no pictures at all will come up or be recognised when trying to open in lightroom, it maybe that its because its an old lightroom version and we aperate on windows 10

A quick google suggests Lightroom only supports tiff, jepg, png, psd and raw formats but not bmp.

Correct - LR does not support bmp files - you'll need to convert them

Probably better to start from scratch with the stacking and save as tiff files. Jpeg is a compressed file format so much of the valuable data has already been lost.
