Limitations of PaintShopPro

You probably know I'm a great supporter of PSP as a viable alternative to the far more expensive PS.....

BUT

I have found a couple of limitations which annoy me!! PSP has no direct equivalent to the PS "Free Transform" function. Also it can't handle the "Divide" function (Introduced in PS with CS5)

How about GIMP? I haven't used it for a few years, but people are happy with it and it is cheaper

I can use AA6 but was hoping for a "one stop shop" processing of the spectroheliograph images.......
