Using a 0.5 FR with my guidescope advice please

Can someone give me some tips on how to implement a 0.5 FR on my guider please.

When I do solar imaging & use a 0.5 FR the adjustment in focus distance is not a great deal, when I add it to the DMK""618 ccd as my guide scope I cannot reach focus.

Guide scope is an Altair 60mm 225Fl F3.75.
The guider works fine with just the DMK but I am after more fov... to 'see' more guide stars.

Any advice on wether the issue is FR distance to front objective or FR to ccd sensor (even though it works fine on solar imaging) or a bit of both would be much appreciated.
