Nice sharp crescent. Maybe just convert to grey scale (by splitting into RGB channels and retaining the green is probably best)

Yup i would agree Michael  Will have a go later.  Ive been out in the garden playing with 30-30 sec exposures of constellations with a nify fifty.   Late this evenjng, Conditions here have been perfect. Clear steady slight low down haze.
