Lowest mag to see a shadow transit?

I've been out tonight with my Dob but pretty much everything but my Southern horizon was cloudy until midnight so I spent a lot of time observing the Io shadow transit of Jupiter with my ED100. Although the planet was very low in the murk I thought I'd try and see what the lowest mag was that I could see the shadow transit, I could see it easily at x112 but only fleetingly (and not confirmed) at x69 using 8mm and 13mm Hyperions respectively.

I wondered how other people had found observing transits with low mags over the last year or so with Jupiter being so low from the UK?
