Hi, This scope is the rich field version at F5.There has been earlier posts concerning CA on bright objects. I chose a  TV Ariel in bright sunlight which  is a real offender of purple haze in these conditions . Shot in RAW with DSLR at 2000th sec isa 200 unprocessed,. this scope is a pvl system which helps with CA. Any comments appreciated..........Dave

Well there is CA there, as you would expect. It's quite nice and sharp as well though:

What do you mean by PVL system ? - do you mean Petzval ?. There is a 2+2 element version of this scope but it's not quite the same as a petzval design as I understand it.

Yes, This one is petzval I think at least it has a lens set up  about 160mm from the focus ?
