NGC1499 - SHO

Here is an effort in SHO narrowband on the California Nebula. TS60ED, HEQ5, ASI1600. 17 x 5 min Ha, 27 x 5 min Oiii, 30 x 5 min Sii. Seems there is very little Oiii up there, but quite a bit of Sii, which confused my processing. Still some gradients to process out and Menkib keeps me up at night...

That's a great image, despite Menkib. Halo removal is very tricky, but there are a few tutorials available on the internet. I know there are one or two for PixInsight, and I believe I have seen some for PhotoShop as well. What software do you use for processing?

I am a PixInsight user. I think my processing of this has introduced the halo, I need to go back and be more sensitive and less hasty I think where Menkib is concerned.
