Good News/Bad News

Good News: Recently the street lights in the main road through the village have been converted to LED and most of the lights in the minor roads are switching off at midnight.

Bad News: It's been 100% cloud cover for the last couple of weeks.

So you now have LEDs? Are they properly shielded to direct their light downwards?

From what I've seen it appears so.

In our street - the old lights used to go off at midnight (except at junctions). But now they've changed them to the new led fashioned thingys they all stay on all night - go figure that one!

No accounting for council decisions. It appears the lights left on are at the minor junctions.
