Nice image. As Martin noted, more subs wii give you a better master image, making processing easier. 30 x 300 sec is 2.5 hrs imaging time. That should be possible on a clear night.

Thanks for the tips - my biggest problem for that session was selecting the wrong camera. I should have used my bog standard Fuji S5 Pro instead of the full spectrum Fuji IS Pro version.

The full spectrum camera is good with all mirror scopes but bloaty UV/IR stars result with a camera lens.

 

The unprocessed stack with nice UV fringes!
