130P-DS - how vulnerable to light spill?

Recommended Posts

I have had some spectacular fails trying to image from our garden since the streetlights went out.

From DSS.jpg

But I think the effects are too severe for just the residual skyglow. Could it be caused by houselights on the scope?

If I use gradient exterminator, I can get rid of the gradient, but there's no detail at all in the bright areas of the image.

For tonight I've made a flock-lined dew-shield and flocked behind my secondary in a do or die attempt to stop this.
