I have a cat that come and see me but it allway jump in from the roof and land on the laptop  no good. So I come up this old polly box that stop it. so think ahead keep the laptop dry help on dew

red filler on the front and black out all in one.

Smart idea for outside. Laptops are way too bright, so a red screen is a good idea.

It's good, but the red filter won't save your night vision.  This is because there will be white light spilling around the edges and that will be more than enough to make your eye think daytime mode.

Also, how will you use the laptop with the filter in place?  It's covering the keyboard.

Its only used for imaging , but when the Cat jump in and land on the keyboard the computer have a fit and I have to go and restart it. so a bit of red light is ok.
