Mains power supply for AZ-EQ6 mount.

I know the question of mains power supplies for mounts  comes up from time to time. Maplin supplied the FLO recommended regulated power supplies, though I see FLO offer another make now. However six months ago the Maplins ones seemed unavailable, so hunting around I found a Sharmans 5A power supply (switch mode) providing a regulated 13.8V.  I've now used it a few times and it appears to do the job of powering the mount reliably. At first I used a cigarette lighter socket as an adapter between the SW AZ-EQ6 power cable and the power supply. But after this socket cracked - frankly it wasn't well made - I managed to order and obtain a GX12-2 aviator connector as used on the AZ-EQ6 mount, which I have now wired directly on the end of the supply cable from the supply to mount.
