Either way its a great and very interesting video. I assume the Neutron star must have captured the low mass star some time after its own Supernova event.

I don't know. I guess they don't know enough about the system to decide either way ?

That poor star being tortured like that though by the neutron star

I was just working on the assumption that a low mass star in close proximity wouldnt have survived the Supernova.
