Great solar 10/9-16

Got PST out in the morning, large prom at 8 o'clock, obviously connected into the disk. 3 sun spots in a group near the prom.

Had a look through PST now 16:00 in the afternoon, the prom has started detaching, more sun spots seen in PST near center, taking out 120ED with wedge, there it is, 3 groups of sun spots run across the solar disk with porres here and there. Just have to set up tracking to take in the whole view. Seeing is good, about 100x with BCO 18 and 1.7x gpc(In front!) looks very steady.

Very well reported. Totally rained out here in the UK, but luckily with GONG and SGL we can keep an eye on events. The large filament has started travel to around the limb now, making it a filaprom. Hopefully the weather will be much better tomorrow.
