Last evening I set up during twilight for a lunar observing session, the terminator was looking stunning with plenty of detail and fairly steady.

As is my wont I spent the first half hour or so just looking then brought the lappie out with the Virtual Moon Atlas to start identifying features and just as I was getting orientated the clouds rolled in.

Oh well there'll be over nights won't there

yes there will Alan, i tryed to get some daytime shots but the spitefull clouds wouldnt let me.  clear skys  charl.
