sw 80ed with altair astro ff/fr

I'm clueless... can anyone tell me if this will work or should I invest in a skywatcher ff/fr? Ive used it and the stars are a bit stretched toward the outer edges of the images. I'm unsure whether this is down to poor spacing, tilt, or the ff/fr being incompatible with the scope.

I'm tired of cobbling my imaging train and once I get the Atik fw2, I want to have all connections screwed together and chip aligned and spacings spot on so I can be as sure as possible that any error will be down to driver error . For this reason, I don't want to be buying adapters to suit the AA fr if I end up needing to get the sw one.

Can't comment on that combination  But the SW ED80 FF/FR works brilliantly.
