Preventing Driver updates in Windows 10

I am totally fed up with Windows 10 deciding that it knows best and overwriting my Prolific driver for my mount.

The old method of preventing Windows driver updates no longer works since the Nov update reliably and doesn't work at all since the Anniversary update.

After having to delete the 'new' Prolific driver and reinstall the old one that works at the start of each session I went on a mission and found this
