starlight xpress sxvr-h9 v nikon d750

hi guys looking to get a ccd camera instead of using my dslr nikon d750 20 odd meg,already have the filter wheel/filters but in theory would the starlight give me as good image as my 24 meg nikon,see this thread as example of my nikons capabilities,any comments appreciated as always   ,an example of my nikons image is on the following thread

Exactly. This CCD is far more sensitive and lower in noise but the chip is tiny. Resolution has nothing whatever to do with the number of pixels, it has to do with the size of the pixels. If the pixels are too smal for the seeing then they are too small, full stop. If they are too large then you lose resolution but get losts of light.
