I thought my power tank / jump starter had packed in, but it was just the charger. However, it was only a couple of quid difference to buy a new cheap Maplins tank with its own charger. So now I have two tanks, one for jump starting (rarely used now that I got a new battery for the campervan) and one for the telescope. Unless you know exactly what has gone wrong with it, don't take your old tank to the recycling yard till you have checked it on another charger.

I have one of these too, just be carefull of dew as they are not designed for outside use.
