M81 with M82 LRGB

I found some old data which I took with the RASA last year. The outer edges of the frames were quite poor but the center had potential so I processed the data. I had 4 times more blue than red & green & lots of L. Let me know what you think but it's a bit blue heavy. As a footnote I might try another integration & balance the blue frames with the numbers of red & green unless you can suggest another method.

I agree the colour balance is better in your second image, but I do like the detail captured in the first.

I think I might be able to cheat a little. I'm going to see if any layering or a colour selection mask might help to tone down the purple in the first image. It should be possible- Olly might know a way to kill the purple.
