Eyepiece Selection

Recommended Posts

$200 is a decent budget, so I'm guessing you're looking for some that will last a while. The BST explorers are pretty good for their price at £50. You could get the 25mm, 12mm and 5mm, which would give a good range to start with.

Will you have any trouble finding an astronomy shop in Bangladesh?

Agreed, the BST line would be a good place to start.  They go by other names around the world (paradigm, starguider, etc).  Look for their distinctive outer casing.  For 15mm and up, plossls are also quite usable for less per eyepiece if you don't have astigmatism.  If you have astigmatism and need to wear glasses while at the eyepiece, stick with plossls above 25mm.  Just be aware, they are 50 degree eyepieces versus 60 for the BST.
