Im thinking of getting a monthly subscription to both Photoshop & Lightroom (around £8 per month) and im wondering if both are necessary?

I do both landscape (daytime) & widefield AP so is it worth paying for both or would Photoshop suffice? Also, are there any benefits using Lightroom over PS?

Thanks in advance

Steve

Lightroom's strength is it's archiving ability, being able to catalog your whole library of images and search on keywords, collections etc. It's image processing capabilities are much more basic than Photoshop (yet still very good for daytime photography). I use Lightroom for my daytime photography exclusively, but it doesn't cut it for astrophotography. Photoshop is much better for this.
