Sticking Dob mount

I've got a 12" Flex tube goto dob. Over the last month the mount has started to stick when turning under motor drive. It stops for a few seconds then goes bonkers catching up.

Does anyone know if it is possible to grease or lubricate the turn table and if so what's the best thing to use ??

Have you tried the mount base with out the scope attached, i wouldn't think it will stick with out and weight on it, if it does it could be a power supply problem, dirty contact, low power when it slews, i have the same scope/mount and haven't ventured into taking it apart yet so whats between the 2 slices of melamine i can't say...i don't know if it would help but a silicon spray on any pads (if it has some) may help....

 I find Turtle Wax (and only Turtle Wax, of the makes I've tried) to give the best teflon-formica lubrication if that's what's in there.
