Second attempt at m42

hi guys so i wasnt very happy with my first attempt so gave it another go 

skywatcher 200p EQ5 EQMod 

Cannon 1000D Unmodified

Coma Corrector

125 Lights Frames ISO 800 40 seconds

25 Darks Frames  ISO 800 40 Seconds

25 Bias Frames ISO 800 1/4000 Seconds

25 Flat Frames ISO 800 1/2000 Seconds

How did you do your flats? The exposure length for flats should be much longer.

Did you use AV setting on the camera?

hi yes i used AV setting on the camera and waited till the histogram was spiked pretty much in the middle first time ever doing them so i expected they would be wrong haha i used my laptop screen to get the plain white image

Regarding the flats, maybe just dim the screen considerably with white paper. If your flats are too short then you can introduce noise and non linearity (I think) along with other problems.
