As Martin said, this version has a good balance of all the Rosette's elements.  Well done.

Maybe adjust the black point slightly to darken the background?  What do you think?

Thanks again for your feedback, Barry.  I usually try to adjust the backgrounds so that they are around the 22 mark in the PS 'eyedropper' tool. - I do this because in several threads I have seen Mr Penrice suggest this as an appropriate level.  When I had the image in my usual colour space 'ProPhoto' my background was just over 20.  When I change the colour space to sRGB for posting here, that shifts things quite a bit.  It also changes the relative amounts of R, G & B.  Not sure what I can do about this.  In any event, I tried bringing in the black point a little:
