Had to go to work by car, and couldn't resist having a look at the sun as it rose above the trees far south of the parking lot. The haze didn't allow me to use full magnification with the double-stack unit, but the big filament is hanging on in there. I hope I can get more views when the sun is higher in the sky

I hope you manage some more views you can tell us about Michael, or even get an image you can share.  There's no chance here, and possibly the same for the rest of the week, though you never know.  When I'm clouded out for any length of time I love to read about others observations and looking at any images that get posted.  Thanks.
