Dupertron
Just a quickie does anyone know if you can use a SkyWatcher Ultra High Contrast Filter 1.25"on Celestron X-cel threaded eyepieces?ThanksM
LukeSkywatcher
If the x-cel is a 1.25" then yes absolutely. If its a 2" ep then NO. I have the Skywatcher UHC filter and it is 1.25" and fits all of my 1.25" EP. I dont own a single 2" EP.You can revert (downgrade) from 2" to 1.25", but you cant upgrade from 1.25" to 2" (if you know what i mean), unless you invest in a 2" visual back/focuser for your scope.Or something like that. Dupertron
Cheers guys, really helpful and appreciatedJust trying to buy a budget filter to see how effective it is before splashing out (if needed) on a more high end filter.
