Second Go

Well, technically third or fourth, but who's counting. Tried my Panasonic GH3 with Canon FD 200m lens tonight (400mm incl crop factor). Treated myself to a Skywatchter Star Adventurer, so took this as an oppotunity to try it it. Got it roughly aligned to Polaris easily enough and the camera set up.

Exposure was 30 seconds @ 1600 iso, 25 lights, 10 darks, 10 bias.

So, I'm still having difficulty with colour (being red-green colour blind isn't exactly helping the matter), but slowly getting to grips with the processing.

Really like the M42: crisp but old-school at the same time. Black and white has its own special character.
