Replacing Old Obs Part 3

Not had much time lately but have now extended the base. I have also made an adapter to mount the EQ6 on the pier. I have decided to concentrate on getting one obs up and running rather than do two at once. I have also made a hefty guide scope rail from 0.5" aluminium plate. This rail will also be used to lift the 130mm APO on and off the mount. Today I picked up a second OTA ( more about this in another thread ).

With the rain likely in the next couple of days it will be a while before further progress.

Down here in the South it is looking pretty wet for a couple of days.
