You could be right I didn't think of that! :grin:

Seriously though its an impressive milestone. I know the Blue Origins launcher had success last month but it was under different launch conditions. Either way its great to see two private companies leading the way.

Not sure why the decision to land on the ground was taken this time. Maybe because Space X felt they had failed too many times on the sea platform and the fact that they were permitted a ground based landing previously they simply decided to give it a try.

Will be good to see some follow up footage to see what condition the booster is in. Looks a bit scorched but apart from that looks ready to go again.
