I do know that  eq6 have some backlash in RA & DEC axis , but although  I can Achieves 5 min subframe easy.

I begin getting issue with tracking & guiding in phd 2,there was a large backlash in Dec axis, and phd2 was trying  to lock on star but , the DEC graph was jumping from side to another side each time the phd correction the dec axis  for each 8 to 10 second

I began Inspection on the mount and I noted a big play in Dec axis with load on it (telescope )  ,and  without load ( telescope ) you will not recognize any big  play

so I try to tighten down & Adjust the DEC worm gear ,but no  use and still  some play was appeared, I am Afraid to Strip Down the mount and it will not work as good as before

Does anyone have any suggestions on what this could be? and how to fix this issue ???

do i need to Strip Down the mount and rebuild it again???? to getting a better tracking & guiding ???

regards

sam
