LR18
Can anyone help me to identify what I need to connect a camera to my scope? I'm using a skyhawk 1145p and I have access to a Sony alpha a200 camera. Only problem is in unsure of what I need to make these two devices work together. I know from the searching I've done I need a 't ring' to fit the camera but that is all I know.b what else will I need? The difference from the diameter of the eye pieces and camera are confusing me a bit too..... Or do I not use the eye piece while imaging with a camera?? LR18
I'm under the impression this is what I'm looking for??http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=281724843595&alt=web Am I right in saying I just connect the scope and camera with this adapter with no lenses in between? I just don't want to go buying something only to find out it isn't the right part.

You might also need a barlow lens, not all newtonian telescopes will reach focus with a camera.
