Having now learnt how to point my telescope at the same place each night.... this was my first attempt at NGC6960, it was made early in early August over 3 nights but only just post processed. LIGHTS: 48 x 300s at -20C.  Darks:30, FLATS: 40, BIAS: 100.  EQUIPMENT: SW ED80 with 0.85 F/R, ST80 Guider, X2Loadstar, Trius-SX26C, NEQ6 Mount. Processed in MAXIM DL and Photoshop CC.  The result seems a bit unreal to me but I'd appreciate your views.

Hi Matt

I think the ethereal/wispy effect is a result of my Photoshop processing,  perhaps it is the "screen mask invert" method I was experimenting with to bring out the nebulosity. Anyway, thanks for your comments, I'm also getting to like this image. If nothing else, at least I'm learning how to use Photoshop
