September 4, 2015: Delicate arc on the eastern limb

Just had another look at the sun in blast-furnace heat in Valetta, even at 8:30. The sun looks really nice, with a lot of filaments on the south-eastern disk. Nearby on the limb, a delicate arc of plasma, with a sharp boundary on the inner edge, and more diffuse on the outer edge. The western limb shows some much brighter proms. As the sun was still over the sea, the seeing was not bad at all.

Hope to have a look later, to see how things develop.
