It was the 2nd night in a row of frustration. It was clear here on Thursday and I spent the evening trying to find and image M51 but I couldn't find it. 2 hours of imaging small patches of empty sky and the laptop battery final died.

Much the same last night, except when I had about 20 minutes of battery left I gave up and took these. I know I needed more subs but I didn't want to end up with nothing again.

Apart from still not being able to find M51, I was pleased with the tracking on the CG5 mount. It bodes well for future efforts, especially as a new 9x50 RAEI finder arrived this morning. I'm hoping I'll find it easier to star hop with a corrected view.
