Micro Touch and Windows 8.1

Hi! I recently bought the Starizona Micro Touch to go with my Feathertouch but I have issues when connecting the device. The USB drivers get installed properly but the Micro Touch Control Panel can't detect the device. When I click on connect a message pops up saying " Could not find Micro Touch using USB port". Can anyone help with this problem? Thanks

I,m not sure but do you have to tell the computer which com port to use?

It says in the setup manual that you use the USB2 selection. Beside that one there are USB1 and COM ports 1-16.

I think you have to tell it which com port you are using,it probably selects com 1 when in fact it,s com 9.people on here have had this when controlling a mount with laptop.

I've tried every single one and it still doesn't work.
