SW HEQ 5 pro Ra /Dec motors

Does any body know if you can buy the above motors as spare and if so where from?

I think Teleskop Service may have them

I think they are NEMA 17 medium torque motors

Hi thanks for the replies. There seem to be a few versions of the NEMA 17 motor so think i need to do a bit more resarch.  Teleskop Service No luck there.

I would half suggest a PM to Astro-Baby or visit her site and ask via an email.

She may know details of the internals.

The other is ask FLO if they can get them or direct to OVL at Bury St Edmunds.

The Opticstar site gives a little detail on the motors but not I suspect enough to identify replacements. They say:

Stepper motors with 1.8° step angle and 64 micro steps driven.
