Under $50 for the used tripod and $15 for threaded dow and machine shop drilled the lxd55 head  3/4 in  deep x 1/2 in. circ. for the dow to seat nicely and have enough to hold up to 100 # . I kick it every night and haven't lost my alignment or had any shakiness . Cost efficient , Photos are backwards.
