I don't know of any astro-shops in India, but it might be worth your time getting in contact with a local astronomy club and enquire what the members have done.

Hi Shubha,

Why online?  I see you're in New Delhi.  I remember coming across a telescope shop when I was there in 2011 and thinking "that's unusual!".  From memory, it was near Khakadooma metro, sorry can't be more specific.
