Cover for Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ

Hello, 

first post (so please be gentle with me)

I'd like to purchase a cover for my, recently purchased, Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ. I'd like to be able to move it outside permanently (to appease my wife) and to make it more likely that I will actually use it!

Does anyone have any recommendations?

One cover I've seen is the Telegizmos 365 Series T3R4 http://www.amazon.com/Telegizmos-Series-Cover-4-inch-Refractor/dp/B00KH8FI4S

But this only seems to be available from the USA with quite large postage costs.

You can get them a lot cheaper then Telegizmo here: http://www.green-witch.com/green-witch-scope-cover-1642-p.asp

Not quite the same thing I know but still very effective for a few days at a time. I wouldn't leave your scope outside permanently - they're fairly hardy but they can deteriorate like a bbq if left too long - plus you'll get all sorts of creepy crawlies on the optics - and the motors (if applicable) will get moist. Best kept in the dry is my advice.

I can't comment on availability on your side of the planet, but the Telegizmo 365 Series is everything they claim.  They won't disappoint you.

I've gone ahead and ordered a heavy weight cover from Cygnus Astro  http://neilross758.wix.com/cygnus-astro-covers with seam sealing and extra stitching for £50.

Neil at Cygnus Astro was also very helpful/
