Where do I get Isopropyl alcohol (IPA)????

Thanks all for the kind resposnes.

I will try other sources as well as other branches of Boots, etc and see how I fare.

For reference, I do intend to dilute (with distilled water) as per instructions before use as part of the procedure for cleaning the front corrector of my SCT.

This will almost certainly a low grade material, for electrical contact cleaning, and I wouldn't use it on any of my optics. :nono:

I'm not sure 'pure' Isopropyl is a good idea. I'm sure I read somewhere that there were health risks and it is better diluted (with distilled water) anyhow.

Meade recommend 1 part IPA to 3 parts distilled water, although I have used it at 50% dilution. You'll find it difficult to get distilled water, and you'll have to make do with the substitute deionised water. The stuff you buy in Tescos etc, for steam irons, isn't that well 'deionised', and will tend to leave a water mark if the droplets are left to dry naturally.
