Problem with Registax v6

I'm just getting started on trying to use Registax v6 to stack a video of jupiter, and already have run into a show stopper.  I run up the app, and click Select and I get a file browse window - so far so good.  Then I navigate to the file (AVI) I want to load, and the moment I click (NOT even double-click) the file name, I get an error message popping up - Out of Memory!  I haven't even loaded the file at this point.  If I then try again, the program crashes.  Has anyone any ideas, similar experience or anything that might help?

For stacking planetary images I'd say use AutoStakkert!2 rather than Registax -- just use Registax for the wavelets etc.

It may also help to preprocess the avi with AstroPIPP to crop the image size down.

I had the same problem when using a Pentax dslr and multiple images

If I reduced the image quality of the jpegs I got no error then
