The temperature indicator light does tend to flicker slightly Michael and I am not sure if this is due to the power consumption rate, either way it is a step up from the supplied battery pack and surprisingly it is only half the price.

Shaun, I've noticed this flicker but that happens just before it goes full blown green

It starts of yellow then after a while it goes green with a flicker every second or so and I've noticed this is when it's almost reached the heat setting and about 15 to 30 seconds later the green stops flickering and is rock steady.
