What's the pros and cons to reset to factory setting on my celestron 90slt telescope

Cons: You lose all data and have to reenter everything again.

Pros: You start out afresh.

What is the problem that makes you want to do a reset?

Its easier to reset something and start over rather then struggle with wrong data input.

had to do reset because it was not pointing to the moon in the right direction but now seems ok now I give a try tonight when dark and have to add the objects back in to the hand set lol
